Privacy policy

CureAvo (“we”, “us”) makes a furniture discovery app and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We’ve written it to be read, not skimmed past.

What we collect

Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you joined.
Account details. If you sign in to the app with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (Apple lets you hide your email). We never see your Apple or Google password.
Your activity in the app. The products you keep or skip, the lists you make and the styles you pick. Without an account, this stays on your phone. With an account, it’s saved to your account so it can sync across your devices.
Basic technical information, such as app version and error reports, to keep the app working.

How we use it

To personalize your recommendations. Your swipes are used only to show you furniture you’re more likely to love.
To keep your favorites and lists in sync when you sign in.
To email you when CureAvo launches, if you joined the waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To fix problems and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

Stores and affiliate links

When you tap Buy now, you leave CureAvo and go to the retailer’s own website. The link may include an affiliate code so the retailer can pay us a commission if you buy. The retailer and its affiliate network may use cookies or similar technology on their sites to record that you came from CureAvo; their own privacy policies apply there. Purchases, payments and deliveries are handled entirely by the retailer, so we never see your payment details.

Who processes your data

We use trusted service providers to run CureAvo, including Supabase (database and sign-in hosting) and Apple and Google (sign-in). They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account data while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete account; this permanently deletes your account, swipes, kept items, lists and style picks. To be removed from the waitlist or to ask any privacy question, email hello@cureavo.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or download your personal information, or to object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll help, usually within 30 days.

Children

CureAvo is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
